The Making of J Winter Fashion Show on Costa Atlantica in Dubai
Global fashion show organizer and model Jessica Minh Anh just marked yet another milestone in the fashion word with the first ever sundeck catwalk in Dubai in January 2013. The J Winter Fashion Show featured a combination of couture, high end ready wear, bridal wear, and swimwear on the 200 metre sundeck of the luxurious cruise ship Costa Atlantica overlooking Dubai’s famous skyline. The highly anticipated event was covered by CNN, CNBC, Forbes Middle East, The National, Dubai TV, Abu Dhabi TV, Fashion One TV, and OK! Middle East, etc. and welcomed exclusive guests such as countries’ ambassadors, luxury brand managers, retail group directors, and international designers.
Before landing the iconic venue, Jessica conducted a series of site visits in Barcelona and Dubai to ensure the project would be a phenomenal success. Welcome to Costa Atlantica - the floating museum of contemporary Italian art at Port Rashid in Dubai
The Italian cruise ship can accommodate up to 2,680 passengers in 1,057 cabins and 58 suites
Jessica Minh Anh arrived on the Sun Deck (Deck 10)
The Sundeck is over 200 metre long and Jessica picked the blue area for the 70 metre catwalk
Decisions were made on the cable plan for sound and lighting systems

Every aspect of the show was clarified to ensure a smooth boarding for all guests and a safe logistics setup
