The Making of J Winter Fashion Show on Costa Atlantica in Dubai

Global fashion show organizer and model Jessica Minh Anh just marked yet another milestone in the fashion word with the first ever sundeck catwalk in Dubai in January 2013. The J Winter Fashion Show featured a combination of couture, high end ready wear, bridal wear, and swimwear on the 200 metre sundeck of the luxurious cruise ship Costa Atlantica overlooking Dubai’s famous skyline. The highly anticipated event was covered by CNN, CNBC, Forbes Middle East, The National, Dubai TV, Abu Dhabi TV, Fashion One TV, and OK! Middle East, etc. and welcomed exclusive guests such as countries’ ambassadors, luxury brand managers, retail group directors, and international designers.

The Italian cruise ship can accommodate up to 2,680 passengers in 1,057 cabins and 58 suites
Jessica Minh Anh arrived on the Sun Deck (Deck 10)
The Sundeck is over 200 metre long and Jessica picked the blue area for the 70 metre catwalk
Decisions were made on the cable plan for sound and lighting systems
Further details on the seating chart and guest arrival location were discussed

The interview included questions about Jessica Minh Anh's ability to organise each seasonal showcase in less than 2 months
as well as her many exceptional hair styles which were created by the most talented stylist teams in the industry (this one was created by the wind however)
Jessica and Costa Cruises staff sat down at Cafe Florian (Deck 3) for the final meeting before the show
Every aspect of the show was clarified to ensure a smooth boarding for all guests and a safe logistics setup
Jessica Minh Anh highlighted the exact position of each J Team member including models, hair stylists, makeup artists, event coordinators, production team, photography and camera team, dressers, stylists, and ushers
Costa Guest Relation Manager provided details on plan B (There should always be a plan B)

More interviews were conducted at Cafe Florian on Jessica's decision to fly her entire London and Paris team of models, photographers, and event coordinators to Dubai 
The visit was a delightful experience and Costa was ready as the official venue host of the grand show
In her latest interview with The National (UAE), Jessica Minh Anh confirmed her ambition to expand her seasonal showcases to Singapore, Spain, and the US.
